Where-other than Costco- can I buy beef brisket in Chicago?

Where-other than Costco- can I buy beef brisket in Chicago? Everywhere I go, I can never find it. Please help. I have a dinner tomorrow and need to cook a brisket for 20 people.

Peoria Packing Butcher Shop 1300 W. Lake St, (312)738-1800 has excellent fresh meats. You can actually pick up your own meat and have the butcher’s trim it for you if you like.Wear a light jacket or sweater because it is rather cool in that part of the store. Also try Park packing Co. 4107 S. Ashland Ave. (773) 254-0100. These stores are in the meat packing district and there are other stores around just as well. If you are in the Lake St. area you have a lot of choices of stores. I recommend Peoria’s though.

Try Moo & Oink. Theres one in the city & one in Country Club Hills ( south suburbs), you can find just about any cut of meat there, at any time. (… I suppose this answer’s coming too late for you anyway…but for next time!)

Either Moo and Oink, or try Petes Produce and Meat Market on 87th and Stoney Island.
