amtrak, $22.00 each way, takes about 1 and 1/2 hrs and is comfortable. I recommend it highly. amtrak.com

Jeni, I would suggest these economical ways to get from Milwaukee to Chicago.
Amtrak’s Hiawatha service has seven trains daily from both Downtown Milwaukee and Mitchell Airport to Union Station in Downtown Chicago. The trip takes about 90 minutes. The fare is $22 each way. You can check the schedule and rates at http://www.amtrak.com .
You can also take MegaBus, a point to point bus service that has seats as low as $1 (yep that’s right a buck!). With most seats around $9 each way. It’s about a 2 hour drive from the Milwaukee Amtrak Station to Union Station in Downtown Chicago. While the routing takes two hours I think these buses are often late (get stuck in Chicago traffic), You can get more information at http://www.megabus.com
Enjoy the Concert and your visit to Chicago!
