In 1893 how long would it take a letter to travel from Chicago to Poland?

I’m writing a paper and I would like to make it accurate.

No aircraft, so:

Chicago to New York or other Atlantic port by rail: 1 day

US Atlantic port to Bremen or Hamburg by steamer: 7 days

German port to destination in Poland by rail: 1-2 days

About 10 days.

Ask KGB. 542-542. It will only cost you a dollar.
